Connecticut Hall Dining Facility (SCSU)


This project was the interior renovation of a 19,000 SF dining facility at Southern Connecticut State University. The dining and kitchen areas, including refrigeration and kitchen office space were completely renovated into a new configuration, and new, high-end finishes and equipment were installed. The new layout now offers several different serving stations, including a gas-fired pizza oven.

Additionally, new offices were created in the lower level under the cafeteria to accommodate additional staff. This was achieved through the re-purposing of existing office area into a faculty dining room, and relocation of offices within the same facility.

This project was completed on an accelerated schedule during the students’ 2 ½ month summer break from school.
