Immanuel House ALCP

Hartford, CT

This project was the renovation of 50,000 SF within a 100,000 SF building. Work was conducted in phases while the rest of building was occupied and operational with elderly (some disabled) tenants. Additionally, the schedule had to be closely coordinated with owners, as it required the relocation of 24 units of occupied apartments per floor for each phase.

Apartments in this 9-story elderly housing complex, originally built in 1970, were fully renovated to upgrade the building to current ADA standards. Upgrades for accessibility and new technology were also made to the common areas, including the kitchen, dining, store, craft room, salon, library, and laundry area. All work was done per HUD specifications.
